8/3/07 Phoenix Spacecraft Launch by Jim Albers

At 09:35 UTC Aug 3, 2007, the Phoenix spacecraft is schedule to be launched from Cape Canaveral.  The spacecraft will move into the sunlight at approximately 11:00 UTC, shortly after separation from the Delta 2 launch vehicle. Observers on the west coast of the USA and Mexico will have the best chance of seeing the spacecraft as it moves away from Earth (brightest estimated sun glint magnitude <8).

Prediction for any observer location are available from the JPL Horizons website .
